Mortal Kombat 2011 PC Announced

Warner Bros. announced a new Mortal Kombat title, which goes on sale in 2011. The game is being developed in the study Netherrealm before WB Games Chicago. Syndicated as “the most brutal edition” of Mortal Kombat, it will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 next year.
The official announcement said that the new release “marks the triumphant return of the series to mature presentation and a reinvention of the classic 2D fighting mechanics. Powered by a new graphics engine, the crowd favorite Fatalities are back, and presented with a level of detail bloodiest ever. Additionally, Mortal Kombat introduces a number of new game play features, including team combat and deep story mode of any game genre. ”
At the same time, Warner also promises that the game will incorporate “the most extensive online experience never before seen in a fighting game, in which up to four players can fight in groups and two players, can play at the new Cooperative Arcade mode.
For its part, the co-creator of the series and creative director Netherrealm, Ed Boon said that “we can not wait for the players he put a hand on Mortal Kombat.
